Who we are and our contact details
The LSESU Future Impact Society is a student society based at the London School of Economics and Political Science (the “LSE”) actively engaging with the emerging issues that will define our future economy, society and world. The Future Impact Summit is a flagship, two-day tech and social sciences event hosted on campus at the LSE (the “Summit”) representing a collaboration between LSESU Future Impact Society and LSESU Entrepreneurs Society and the LSE Alumni Association London. This privacy policy sets out how the LSESU Future Impact Society uses your personal information and yours rights in relation to your personal information.

How we get the personal information
Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you to allow us to contact you to facilitate your attendance at the Summit or related events and initiatives. Your information may be shared with us indirectly by the below parties in relation to your attendance at the Summit or related events and/or initiatives:

The LSE, its related departments or organisations;

LSESU Entrepreneurs Society; and/or
-
LSE Alumni Association London.
(each a “Summit Partner” and together the “Summit Partners”).
How we use the personal information you have provided
We use the information that you have given us in order to:

to allow us to facilitate your attendance at the Summit or related events and initiatives;

to contact you in relation to Summit related events and initiatives;

to consider your allergies/dietary preferences when you attend the Summit or related events and initiatives;

to seek and/or receive your feedback in relation to Summit related events and initiatives.
We may also share this information with our Summit Partners.
Our lawful bases for processing your personal information
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

(b) We have a contractual obligation.
(c) We have a legal obligation.
(d) We have a vital interest.
(e) We need it to perform a public task.
(f) We have a legitimate interest.
How we store your personal information
Your information is securely stored. We keep your personal information for:

the purposes of administering the Summit or related events and initiatives;

informing you of future events or initiatives related to the Summit, where you have asked us to do so, for a reasonable period of time following your attendance at the Summit or last attendance at a related event or initiative (not exceeding a period of one (1) year); or

where required for regulatory purposes (as applicable).
Where you have informed us that you wish us to delete your personal information or we have deleted your personal information as detailed above we will dispose of your information by deleting your details from our records.

Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.
Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
Your right to erasure - You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.
Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
Your right to object to processing - You have the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.
You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
